When we started looking for a house, we were scared and clueless. We truly didn't know what to do first. We had driven around neighborhoods we liked, and even called a Realtor listed on the for sale sign of a property we were interested in. It soon became clear that the Realtor knew less about the house than we did! We then spoke with a second Realtor, again from a "for sale" sign, who promised us the best experience and home search, only to never hear from her again! Needless to say, Realtors weren’t on my "favorite people" list.
Then I remembered a gentleman (Realtor) that I met at a company function who had given me his business card. I remembered him being a very nice, friendly and an easy person to talk to, so I decided to email him. He was actually away on a vacation at the time, but still was able to respond to my email and let me know that as soon as he returned, he would be happy to help me. A few days later, Michael called and the rest is history.
Every fear that we were experiencing with the whole home search/purchase process was lifted off our shoulders. Michael Chenkus is the reason we are happy home owners today. At no point during the process was he unable to be reached. He answered every question we could think of. He recommended excellent vendors (mortgage, attorney, inspector etc) to assist us with other aspects of our purchase. Each of his recommended colleagues were just as good as he was.

I was looking for a condominium in an area that I was not familiar with. The initial call to the listing agent connected me to Michael. I looked at several condos in many locations, and in some instances the same one more than once. I was working within my budget and Michael informed me of many locations in my price range, He met me at the locations and was always on time, I was never rushed. He had a casual demeanor, answered all my questions, was knowledgeable about the property and there was never any pressure to buy.
